If I could go back in time........

If I could go back in time, I would go to the time when the colonies came from England to the New World. We have studied about that in Socail Studies and it sounded cool to go there. I would want to help settle the new land in America. I could help the pilgrims with Thanksgiving and be a part of it all. I think it would be very cool to be a part of the settlement of the New World, and the revolution for their independence. To think back on when the first "Americans" set foot in the New World ready to colonize it is just amazing to think about. When I think about America, I think of all the 50 states, but to think that it was so tiny before we signed peace treaties and fought over land to make America the country we are now. Coming from Louisiana I think it was pretty inportant that the president signed the treaty with Frace to make the "Louisiana Purchase". I am very grateful to the pilgrims and for what they did, because without them there wouldn't be a country called the United States of America.
